I'll be appointing mods if I need to, starting with members who joined first (if they match a certain criteria.) If I think you're up for it, I'll message you. It's fine to decline the offer. If the forum gets big enough I'll make a thread in the announcements on how to become a mod, until then it's all just blind luck and what-not.
That being said, take a look at these.
..::Rules of the Forum::..
1.) Don't be a douche. Don't act mightier-than-thou because you've been on the site longer or because you're a better-quality writer. Just chill and make the place friendly for new members.
2.) Don't be an insensitive douche. I'll censor any group offensive words if asked; if you have any aggressive thoughts towards non-binary genders and orientations, PoC, people with mental or physical disorders, etc., keep them to yourself. You'll be warned at the first offense and banned by the second.
3.) Don't be the kind of douche who goes above PG-13 without letting others know about it. I obviously don't care about swearing, and I'm not going to censor words unless you can prove to me they're attacking a minority. But if you're going to be graphic about something, let a staff member know and mark the thread or reply. If you're going to have something with gore or triggers mark it [G] for gore or [T] for other triggers. Please make a warning in the first line of your post, like so;
WARNING; CONTAINS ANIMAL ABUSE
This goes for replies to threads as well. Put this in the first line and use a hider ([hider=name]content[/hider])
SEXUAL CONTENT IS PROHIBITED BY PROBOARDS. I'M SORRY, BUT THAT'S JUST HOW IT IS.
