Check these out before posting IC. These are not guidelines, these are rules, and failure to abide by them will result in warnings.
1.) Make a character in the application forum before posting. Pretty lenient on the application acceptation process, as long as you fill out the application sheet with a bit of effort you'll be accepted. Here's the character sheet and some info about how the acceptation process works: character creation
2.) Please wait for three people to post between turns. This helps give others a chance to enjoy the sessions too.
3.) Make sure your IC posts are at least a five sentences (about 100 words) long and readable. Perfect grammar is not expected and high-quality writing not necessary, the point of role-playing is to improve your writing and have fun...that doesn't mean it has to be total crap either. Proof-read whatever you're writing before posting it, and edit it if you see a mistake.
4.) Keep OOC discussion in IC posts to a minimum. If you're going to do so, select a different color, put them in [brackets] and mark them OOC. Here's an example;
Tea: Leland brought the chipped cup to his lips, thinking to himself that Merriam's home seemed a bit run-down. He watched as the poor boy made tea for his newest friend. [OOC: Hey Johnny, what does Merriam's kitchen look like anyways?]
Johnny109: Merriam smiled politely at Leland, humming to himself as he made a pot of tea for the two of them, but his mind was on other things. He thought about what he had seen in Leland's kitchen and compared it to his own; high marble counters and a shiny oven compared to his own plastic counters and and a breakfast bar with mismatched-stools...he didn't even have a microwave.
Note that he didn't have to speak OOC to answer my question.
5.) You can host your own RP if you want. Post in the GM board with the plot and setting, and if you get enough interest go ahead and start a thread in your setting.
6.) NO GOD-MODDING OR BUNNYING. PLEASE.
Thank ye.
