*Power: Healing :: Kaitlinn's healing power has been present since birth, and as far as it is known, is unique among angels. At present, they aren't very strong, and are limited to cuts, bruises, and sprains. No one is sure whether they will get better with age, or stop developing as she stops growing.
*Appearance: Petite and still very much looking like a girl, Kaitlinn has some of the biggest doe eyes and pale white skin you'll probably ever see in your life: traits she gets from her heritage. Another thing she gets from her family is her straight carriage, which is supposed to represent the pride of Angels. Though she is fourteen, she hasn't hit puberty quite yet; Angels tend to a little later than humans. Her face is heart-shaped and there's always a kind look in her eyes. (I will probably draw her later.)

*Flaws: She is a wingless angel, so she can't fly like her brethren can. Also, she has knees that are quite knobby.
Clothes and Accessories: One will often see Kate in a mid-thigh length, plaited denim skirt, a graphic tee (usually something cute or flowery) and tennis shoes.
*Personality: Kaitlinn is very kind and is always cheery and sociable. She is a very big people person, and likes just meeting new friends. Always has a smile on her face.

*History: Kaitlinn was a bit of a surprise for her parents, who were told that they couldn't have any more children. After their second child, their first son, tore up Mrs. Crewe's womb really badly, having another was out of the picture- or so it seemed. So when Kate popped out, healthy and having restored her mother's uterus back to normal, everyone was shocked. However, that shock soon turned to excitement, and the bustle of having a new angel baby took over. Early on, it was discovered that Kate was wingless, and so would never soar in the sky like her parents and older siblings. Probably due to a bad gene, everyone said. However the lack of promise in that area was overshadowed by great promise in another- her healing powers, and the presence of a rune near the base of her spine, on her back. Now the miracle that her birth had been made sense. It hadn't been just a one-time thing; she could concentrate and voila! A bruise or a scratch would heal right over. On herself, too.
Kaitlinn's family encouraged her to develop her gift, and they understood when she got angry because she couldn't heal a leg her brother Darren had broken. A visit to the Doctor's cheered her right up. The one thing her parents knew could make her happy on any day was getting to see a friend or meet a new one. Kate always loved people, and had a sunny personality.
Somewhere deep in their hearts Mr. and Mrs. Crewe knew that one day they would have to let go. She would not be able to learn everything she needed at home. So, when they got the acceptance letter in the mail from Academy Celeste, they cried for a while, and then got excited. Finally a school that could give her the education she deserved. So, they helped her pack and sent her on her way.
